The problem
Why it exists
Every business runs on spreadsheets that were accurate the day someone exported them. Rutba Sheets binds cells to live data (stock on hand, your price list, receivables by age), so the report is current every time it is opened, not every time someone remembers to refresh it.
Fit
Who it is for
- Teams collaborating on documents and reports
- Finance and ops people living in spreadsheets
- Businesses wanting live figures instead of stale exports
Apps in this product
What you get
Workspace service
The document engine: format fidelity, co-editing sessions, and the live data bindings into your business records.
What it does
Capabilities
- Word processor and spreadsheet, edited together in real time
- Opens and saves .docx and .xlsx on our own engine, with no round-trip loss
- 145 spreadsheet functions with dependency-ordered recalculation
- Live data bindings: cells that read stock levels, your price list and receivables ageing
- Charts including scatter, and a PivotChart added with a new pivot
- Charts, shapes and pictures moved, resized and deleted by hand, on the sheet and on the page
- Pictures in PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP or WebP, and PDF export
- Documents are ordinary Drive files, so sharing follows organization roles
- Try the editor with no account at all (see the sandbox link below)

Worth knowing
Early access is the honest label for a product you can already use: both editors, real-time co-editing, and a public sandbox that needs no account. What is still landing is the standalone Drive interface documents are stored in. Today that storage is reached through Workspace itself.
